GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS 
The meeting was called to order at 8:07pm. The next Board Member meeting will be December 5th at the JOSFC so that things can be better organized, arranged and clean-up, possibly if time allows ~ decorate for Christmas Party. Patti has forwarded names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers to Russ Brodie (FWCC) for the Red Tagging Program Seminar. ~ Deadline is December 12th! Russ Brodie will send out an e-mail to all participants to set a specific date and time for the Red Snapper Tagging session at Jacksonville University. Friendly reminder that Membership renewal is upon us, so we can keep our club going. Awards not picked up from the Banquet were announced during the meeting for Matthew Parker, Amos Riley and Steve Shaw (2). Awards will be held by Danny DelRio.

Spaghetti & meatballs, green beans, salad and lots of delicious deserts will also be available.
GUEST SPEAKER 
Captain Dave Sipler, giving a demonstration on the havalon fillet knife and other innovative products such as a Rain core/filter for gas and belt with rubber gloves and plyers .If you are interested in more information, please visit www.havalon.com. Brochures, flyers and some products where passed out and others items donated for the raffle table.

Reminder an Executive Order has been passed by President Obama giving Dr. Jane Lubchenco complete control over any body of water touching or feeding into the ocean. She can cease fishing inshore and off shore due to her perceived economic or ecological impact on the ocean of man's growth.
Dr. Jane Lubchenco who is under secretary of commerce for oceans and atmosphere and administrator of NOAA since 2009. Nominated by President Obama in December 2008 as part of his "Science Team," she is a marine ecologist and environmental scientist by training, with expertise in oceans, climate change, ( Read this as Eco extreamist ) and interactions between the environment and human well-being.

UPCOMING EVENTS

A petition will be passed around and forwarded at the General Fishing Meeting December 6th at 7:30pm at Dick’s Wings next to Al’s Pizza off of Beach/San Pablo. U.S. Sen. John Kerry is on our side! Senator Kerry told NOAA Administrator Jane Lubchenco he expects her to be sent the scientific proof she’s requiring about the harmful impact of catch share management on the groundfishery ~ and he expects her to issue a “disaster declaration later this month.” Meeting is essential and critical; please make an effort to attend. ~ Bring your chairs and come early! Next Thursday, December 8th at 7:30pm is the El Cheapo Meeting ~ JOSFC ~ All are Welcome! Our next General Meeting is our Christmas Party, Thursday, December 15th ~ Potluck ~ Lure tree will also be available, bring new lures not used. JOSFC Swap Meet in Thursday, January 19th 12th Annual El Cheap Sheephead Tournament is February 25th

RAFFLE 
Raffle tickets can win you some great prices!
Rod & reel, canvas tackle bags, line, pliers….and so much more. Captain Dave Sipler donated a Havalon knife & belt with rubber gloves packaged. Vacuuming honors for winning the Rod and reel went to Jack Shaffer, Congratulations!
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:08pm.
